Debby Throckmorton
Debby Throckmorton is a Nashville-based acting, songwriting, and singing performance coach who believes in creating opportunities for artists of all abilities. Her students have appeared on hit television shows such as American Idol, The Voice, CSI, and Hannah Montana, and have been featured in national commercials and major films — including Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and A Christmas Story Christmas. Her students have also worked on projects for Disney, Nickelodeon, Hallmark, and Netflix.
Many of Debby’s students have booked major singing tours, earned publishing and record deals, and continue achieving success across film, TV, and music. Her actors are currently filming new movies and shows, while her Dream With Me students are preparing to appear on their very own local TV show, bringing their talent and creativity to a wider audience.
A lifelong storyteller and collaborator, Debby co-wrote the Grammy Award–winning song “Ride Me Back Home,”recorded by Willie Nelson. Now, through her nonprofit Dream With Me, she’s dedicated to helping everyone find their voice.
